FBI's National Improvised Explosives Familiarization Training

Description: The Office of the State Fire Marshal presents this course designed to train and familiarize first responders, law enforcement officers, industry and the farming community on the potential uses of common industrial and household chemicals in the manufacturing of improvised explosives and devices.
Classroom briefings will occur in the morning 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and include:
FBI Role in WMD Events/Awareness
Introduction to Explosives
Introduction to IEDs
Improvised Explosives Threat Briefing
The classroom portion of the training will be held at the Easton Fire Department
315 Aurora Park, Easton, MD 21601
An outdoor explosive demonstration will start at 1pm. This will last approx. 1 hour and will be located at the "Landing MX Track"

Lunch will be on your own after classroom portion.
