President's Message

It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of Maryland Fire and Explosive Investigators Association member and Baltimore County Fire Department Fire Specialist Kurt Chenowith of Station 1 (Towson).  Kurt died on Tuesday August 9, 2011 in a motor vehicle accident in Bel Air, Maryland.  Contributions may be made to the Baltimore County Fallen Heroes Fund  P.O. Box 20128  Towson, MD  21284.

The Maryland Fire and Explosives Investigators Association (MFEIA) is a non-profit corporation that serves the fire investigation community across the state of Maryland by providing training and educational opportunities for our members and encouraging information sharing and networking with other professionals in the fire investigation community. MFEIA members include professionals from the fire service, law enforcement and the private sector.
